Sometimes only the signed or audio described versions of a programme are available on BBC iPlayer. The signer is part of the picture and can't be removed.
If you can't find the non-signed version of the episode, it's because that version of the programme has already been available but has now expired.
The accessible version of a programme is often broadcast a few days after the standard version, however it will have the same availability (for example, 30 days), so there will be a period where the signed or audio described versions are the only versions available.
