Revealed: Female Lib Dem MP who had ‘physical altercation’ with Farage
A Lib Dem source told The Telegraph that Caroline Voaden had been 'shocked and shaken' by the incident

The MP who had a physical altercation with Nigel Farage in the House of Commons was Caroline Voaden, The Telegraph can reveal.

The Reform UK leader blamed a previous incident with an MP for his absence from John Healey's Budget speech on Wednesday, claiming he wanted to avoid another after seeing that his seat reservation had been removed.

The Telegraph can now confirm the MP involved was Ms Voaden, the Liberal Democrat schools spokesman, who has been MP for South Devon since 2024.
