Everton seek to improve a run of just two wins in 15 Premier League matches going back to last season – the fewest number of victories across a 15-game period in the top flight in either tenure under Moyes.
Everton, though, will take confidence from a cup fixture in which they outworked and out-thought Monday's opponents, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Garner back close to their best and Thierno Barry scoring his seventh goal in all competitions.
Barry is now just one goal shy of his total of eight from last season in another welcome boost for Moyes.
