How dominant were Democrats in the 2026 election?

So dominant that they could have won some marquee races even if literally none of their voters showed up on Election Day.

That was true in Senate races in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. And it could also be true of the Arizona governor’s race.

In each one, more voters voted for the Democrat via early voting and absentee and/or mail voting than voted in total for the Republican — including all methods of voting. In each race, the Democrat appears to have won by 10 or more percentage points.
