Madeline May went into the first date with low expectations. She was tired of dating apps. She wasn’t expecting anything special.
Unexpectedly, the laughter, chemistry and conversation flowed. But just as quickly as Madeline’s hopes for a second date were raised, they were dashed. Her date, Boyan Vassilev, revealed he was departing on a three-month trip to Bulgaria the next day.
