Andy Burnham has said he will look at reforming rape trials following the conviction of comedian Russell Brand on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said he would consider the changes in order to encourage more women to come forward and to "get the conviction rate up" following comments from the Metropolitan Police Commissioner and the Victims Commissioner.
It comes after comedian Russell Brand was convicted of raping one woman and sexually assaulting three others.
