Preston North End have signed midfielder Greg Docherty on a deal until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old began his career with Hamilton Academical before moving to Rangers in 2018.

From there he joined Hull City two years later and made over 100 appearances and won promotion from League One, an achievement he repeated after signing for Charlton Athletic, where he was also captain.
