A rock icon's longtime guitarist says the singer told the band to keep playing while he was having a heart attack onstage.
It happened at a show in Prague in June 2004. It was the last tour he ever played.
The singer was David Bowie, and the guitarist is Earl Slick, who first played with Bowie on the Diamond Dogs tour in 1974 and worked with him on and off until 2013. Slick talked about that night with Guitar Player in an interview published Oct. 18, Ultimate Classic Rock reported.
