A former waitress has won more than £13,000 in an age discrimination case after a hotel's chef and general manager screamed and swore at her for dropping an apple crumble.
Daniesha Charles was working part-time at the Royal Thurso Hotel, in the Scottish Highlands, while completing a college course when she faced a "tirade of abuse" for dropping the dessert.
Ms Charles, who was 15 at the time, was shouted at by both the chef and the general manager, Andy Woodcock, who "got in her face" and swore at her.
