Many of the front pages feature UK entertainer Russell Brand after he was convicted of rape and sexual assault. "Justice" is the Daily Mirror's single-word headline printed over a photo of Brand, writing that the court found him "guilty of raping one woman and assaulting three others".

"Brand faces jail for sex crimes", says the Daily Express, relaying the court's finding that he was "using fame to offend".

The Daily Telegraph reports that the BBC has been accused of "enabling" Brand's behaviour, writing that "his conviction has piled fresh pressure" on the public broadcaster – along with other networks Brand worked for including Channel 4 and MTV – "over its failure to control its stars". A BBC spokesperson said there could be "no place for the abuse of power", adding: "Across the industry we must work together to ensure that anyone who suffers at someone else's hand feels able to report it, that their concerns are taken seriously and that they are listened to."
